You. Yes you, the one reading these words.

Have you ever paused to reflect on why you're here in this world?

Why, out of all of His creation, Allah chose you to be a human being?

He could have made you into a bird, flying from one place to another, from one tree to another, laying eggs and making nests? Or perhaps something as tiny as an ant , vulnerable to be crushed by the human feet mercilessly? Or a leaf that got carried away by the blowing winds of autumn?

Think on it. Out of all the possibilities, Allah chose you to be human, His vicegerent on earth, to be capable of faith, love, and resilience.

Allah says in the Quran:

Indeed, We created humans in the best form. (Surah At-Tin, Verse 95)

You, dear reader, are not a product of some mere luck or chance.

You were created out of Allah's mercy for a purpose only you can fulfil.

Every breath that you take is a reminder that your life holds meaning.

Your life, no matter how small it may seem, is a part of the Divine plan.

Know that you were created not because of what you would fail to achieve or achieve but simply because Allah willed to bring you into existence.

Every heartbeat is a testament of His love for you, every breath is a sign of His care for you.

You were not created to prove your worth to the whole world because you are already worthy in the eyes of The One who created you. He saw the potential in you before your parents or even you yourself knew about it.

To God, you are not just the sum of your success subtracted by your failures. Your worth is not just an equation of how much you can offer to the world. Your value does not just come from what you give, say, or do; there is more to you than just output.

The sun doesn't have to run to lap the horizon, the days do not have to pass to purchase your worth, you are not worth it in some future plane. You are not worthy only in the innocence of your past because it is not what you have done or do that makes you worthy. Your worth does not come just by your doing, it comes through the perfect God who created you. - A.Helwa

Allah says in the Quran:

Who has perfected everything He created. And He originated the creation of humankind from clay. then He fashioned them and had a spirit of His Own ˹creation˺ breathed into them. And He gave you hearing, sight, and intellect. ˹Yet˺ you hardly give any thanks. (Surah As-Sajdah, Verses 7–9)

Allah does not only mention the physical form of the human being but highlights the perfection of man and woman that includes the human spirit, the soul, the ability to think intellectually and carry out actions based on free will, the ability to show deep emotions and love without bounds, the drive to succeed and excel and a deep-rooted yearning for meeting Allah.

Allah is speaking about you.

Not only the first human beings , Adam (AS) and Hawwa (AS) to walk on this earth , not just the best human being to ever walk on this earth, Prophet Muhammad (SAWS).

You.

That's the special gift of being born as a human. How then, can you call yourself or your appearance imperfect , surely our Creator never makes any errors! For He alone, is Perfect.

Of course that doesn't mean that everything you do is perfect. It refers to your hidden capacities yet to be discovered, your unlimited potential. You were created without flaw, with a perfect mind, heart and body, with a pure soul on an original disposition full of goodness, a powerful mind, and a body whose secrets continue to surprise modern science!

The One who created you knows the dreams you carry within, the goals you wish to reach, He sees the struggles you face, the tears you hide and the yearning within you that longs for something greater.

Allah states in the Quran:

Indeed, We have dignified the children of Adam, carried them on land and sea, granted them good and lawful provisions, and privileged them far above many of Our creatures. (Surah Al Isra, Verse 70)

Finding your purpose in life is not always easy. It requires reflection, effort, and patience. Allah has gifted you with His ultimate book of guidance - the Quran, Sunnah - the words of Prophet (SAWS), and the natural world around you, with clear signs all pointing back to the Creator in order that you may know why you were created.

So, dear reader, ask yourself this question : What am I doing with the gift of life that Allah has blessed me with? Am I fulfilling the purpose that I was created for?

Each soul's journey is unique, but the destination would be the same; to return to your Creator, Allah by having lived a life that pleases Him. Remember, every breath is an opportunity, every heartbeat is a blessing, and every second is a gift. Use them wisely, for they are reminders from Allah that you are still alive for a reason!

Remember, you are not just a small star. You are a reflection of the entire cosmos.
