Have you considered the true purpose behind each person you've met in your life? That , what if, each encounter or interaction you had with them no matter how small or insignificant carried a lesson for you to reflect on, a message from God (Allah) to guide your heart to who you were meant to be in this life?

While some people leave when their purpose in your life is fulfilled, others seem to come up when you might need them the most ? Or if you think the opposite, maybe you feel like you didn't gain any benefit from some people you met but what if you were the one who entered their lives because Allah wanted to teach them, guide them towards something through you ?

Isn't it all a blessing in disguise?

Every person, leaves an imprint on our souls, teaching us valuable lessons we might not completely be able to grasp at the moment. At times the people who leave the greatest impacts on our lives, are the ones we least expected!

It could be a passing stranger, who offered some kind words whilst you were going through a tough time and that reminded you of the goodness that still exists in this world and thereby softened your heart back again by Allah's mercy.

A friend who went away but taught you the importance of cherishing the moments shared.

A mentor who challenged you to push beyond your limits and aim high , making you discover strengths hidden within you that you didn't know you had.

It could even be a child, with their pure innocence and joy, reminding you to find the beauty in simple moments of life, or an elderly person, whose life experiences direct your path towards seeking wisdom.

People you meet inspire you to do your best, who make you smile when it's impossible to see the light, they motivate you to let go of your fears and take on new challenges. You feel positive around them. They contribute to your personal growth and so you become grateful considering them as blessings, leading yourself back to your Creator, Allah who brought them in your life.

Other times you meet those who leave you heart-broken , these are the people who hurt us repeatedly, yet for reasons unexplainable, we hold onto them tightly, until Allah finally removes that person from your life reminding you of where your true worth lies.

When you couldn't bring yourself to leave them , Allah allowed them to hurt you in order that you may let go and see His love for you that was there all along. What we perceive as a loss , is in reality, a gain, a means of protection from Allah.

Every person you meet in life has a purpose

Even the ones that hurt you the most.

It wasn't a punishment, but a mercy from Him, a blessing within which He saved you from what could have been even worse.

So whenever the pain of regret comes into you of having known people in your life who might have caused you pain, remind yourself that it was all part of Allah's plan and never a mere coincidence. You wouldn't have been where you are today, if it weren't for all those people you met and got through in the past.

A glimpse of Allah's Mercy is that He sends the right people, at the right time with the right words and gestures, to remind you that you are not alone , to reinforce the fact that you're not forsaken by your Lord, to renew your weak faith so that you may come to realise your true value and the real purpose of your life.

You will meet people who will change your life forever. Some for a few months, some for years and a few for lifetime and many for what might seem like the blink of an eye.

But everyone changes you in one way or another. They are all pieces of who you are and who you will be.

It's a beautiful thing when you meet souls that change your life in many good ways, whose faith and way of life inspires you, whose mindset you admire, a level of faith and kindness that you wish to reach yourself. It's beautiful when you meet someone who motivates you to be the best version of yourself in every way possible. May Allah (SWT) bless you and connect your paths with such people who bring out the best version of you. Aameen.
