Dear reader,
I know that sometimes life feels too heavy. You start to question, "Why am I facing so many hardships?" Maybe you carry burdens that feel too much to bear or wounds that no one has ever seen. You've spent nights silently crying tears and mornings forcing yourself to put up a smile. You wonder if anyone understands the cries of your soul.
But, I want you to pause and take a deep breath, and remind yourself that your Creator, Allah is with you. The Creator of your heart knows the burdens that lie deep within it. No adversity touches you except if He wills. No hardship comes from Him except to strengthen your faith and bring you closer to Him for Allah loves you more than your own mother.
Just like the coal, dark and cheap, when put under intense pressure and immense heat transforms into a beautiful diamond, similarly by putting us through tests and hardships, Allah purifies our soul, renewing our faith and strengthening the heart. Both coal and diamond are made of carbon, but one is precious while the other is not, and so when the Creator of the heavens and the earth tests you, it's because He wants to shape you into the most beautiful thing possible!
It's up to us when Allah calls upon us saying "So where are you going?", the comfort you seek isn't within this world, it's not in giving into your Nafs, it's not in being part of the ills of this society just to blend in, it's with Him and He calls upon us five times a day to seek the comfort the heart requires.
Allah will heal all those wounds of yours as though you never had them.
Allah will ease your burdens as though you never even carried them.
Allah will wipe your tears as though your eyes never poured them out.
Allah will grant your heart peace as though you never felt uneasiness.
Allah will bring that smile of yours back as though it never disappeared in the first place.
Allah will fill your heart with so much joy as though it never experienced sorrow.
Instead of you questioning His decree, you will get tired of thanking Him for all that He does.
He will restore you in ways that no human can ever comprehend and He will love and embrace you in a way that makes every hardship that you've ever gone through feel like a distant memory.
Now you may ask, 'How can I be so confident that all of this will happen?'
It's because you are not expecting this from imperfect humans, you are asking the Creator of this entire universe, the One on Whom everything depends on for every need, in every passing moment.
We asking from Allah,
- (Al-Kareem) The One who is the Most generous.
- (Al-Wahhab) The One who loves to bestow us gifts.
- (Ar-Raheem) The One who is the Most merciful.
- (Al-Mujeeb) The One who is the Most responsive.
- (Al-Malik ) The King, The Owner of Dominion: The One who owns and bestows all things.
You're placing your trust in the One who split the red sea open for Musa (AS), the One who cooled down the blazing fire for Ibraheem (AS), the One who saved Yunus (AS) from darkness in the belly of the whale, the One who cured Ayyub (AS) from severe illness, the One who saved Nuh (AS) from the destructive flood, the One who granted Zakariyya (AS) a child despite his old age, the One who brought Yusuf (AS) out from the depths of the well, the One who protected Isa (AS) from harm and raised him up to the heavens, the One who honored Sulayman (AS) with a grand kingdom and last but not the least the One who strengthened Muhammad (SAWS)'s heart with miracles in time of hardship as a sign of hope and reassurance.
So ask yourself, if Allah could do all this and more for His Prophets and Messengers, what makes you think He won't help you and provide relief? What burden do you carry that is greater than His the power He posses?
The One who answered their prayers is the same One who listens to yours. Place your sincere trust in Him, for He will never abandon you, and His help comes out in ways you could possibly never imagine.
