A love so timeless that it knew you before this world even existed, a love that watches over you from the first daylight to the last hour of darkness without a break, a love that never stops loving you even though you may turn your back on it at times.
A love that gives you in abundance and keeps on giving without asking for anything in return, one that already knows what your heart desires but despite that listens to your sighs and cries with all the attention that even the entire world together cannot offer you!
In this love, every heartbeat that your heart makes, every breath you take freely, is as if He whispers, 'I am here, I have always been here!'
A love so profound that it encompasses everything from farthest star to the deepest desire of your heart.
This love is between you and your creator, God (Allah).
He waits for you with open arms no matter how many times you've left Him.
He understands you, your silence, your tears, your fears, your hopes and your wildest dreams and there is no one who can know what your heart's intentions are better than He does.
For Allah Himself says in the Quran:
Whether you speak secretly or openly - He surely knows best what is ˹hidden˺ in the heart. (Surah Al-Mulk, Verse 13)
He takes those pieces of your precious heart shattered like a broken glass and holds them together firmly as though they never fell apart, restoring the light of guidance and hope within you that you once lost.
If you yearn to meet Him, He yearns to meet you.
When you think about Allah, the truth is He is thinking about you.
Allah is the origin and cause of love. Love is not something Allah does , love is something Allah is. - A.Helwa.
One of the blessed names of Allah is Al-Wadud (The Most Loving), a name that symbolises the essence of love in its most purest and complete form.
Where in a world humans love with conditions and for many reasons, He loves beyond any conditions as far as transcending time and space.
Where humans tend to forget all the good you do, He remembers all the little acts of goodness you've done even though you may have forgotten yourself.
Where humans may love imperfectly with occasional hurt and misunderstandings, His love is flawless far beyond our minds can comprehend.
Where humans may abandon you at your lowest, He is not only there standing by your side but guides you alongside through His words.
Where humans may hold a grudge against you, He is there to love you despite your sins, offering you a fresh start each time.
Why then do we shrink ourselves for people who are smaller than us and put our dreams aside to fulfill theirs?
Why do we still beg for affection and risk getting nothing in return when there is already Al-Wadud, the One who grants us love without a price?
How then can you feel unloved when you are loved so completely by Him? The one who loves you with your imperfections so perfectly.
Allah even commands the angels to love you in the heavens above. The Prophet (SAWS) told us:
If Allah loves a person, He calls Jibrael (AS) , saying, 'Allah loves so and so, O Jibrael love him.'
So Jibrael would love him and then would make an announcement in the Heavens: 'Allah has loved so and-so therefore you should love him also.'
So all the dwellers of the Heavens would love him, and then he is granted the pleasure of the people on the earth. (Al-Bukhari)
"You cannot separate love from Allah any more than you can separate water from the ocean."
Just as the ocean cannot exist without water, our hearts and soul do not feel complete without His love and presence. Loving Allah is not about mere words rather it is the actions and the state of the heart that truly dictates our love for our Creator. It's about loving Him before anyone else, even our parents, being grateful for the blessings He has bestowed upon us and constantly having our tongues moist with His remembrance.
When we are in love, we often cannot stop thinking about the other person. We all claim that we love Allah, but how often do we really remember Him?
